Comment:

 I'm not sure I'm fully understanding the details.  It sounds to me like
 the only time when there would be an Etoys entry without an associated
 mime-type is when you have just opened a new instance and haven't yet
 kept/closed it.  Is that accurate?  In general, every Etoys entry should
 be an "object" -- a project -- right?  They should really be the same
 thing, I think.
