Please don't hesitate to engage me on this. In my capacity as director of
FSF, that organization has already asked me for help as well and I'm
alright acting as a go-between.
I stopped by the FSF today and talked to Peter Brown about this in some
depth. I've also been having conversations with both Matt Norwood at the
SFLC and with Brett Smith.
My understanding is that there is still an informational deficit on the
FSF side that is preventing a clear answer one way or another or a clear
response as to what any GPLv3 problems might be and how we might go about
addressing them.
I've scheduled a meeting tomorrow evening with Michael Stone and Brett
Smith of the FSF. Hopefully we'll be able to ask all the right questions
and least find out what the issues are and what will need.
If that sounds decent, I'm happy to take notes and come fill in Walter and
Jim Friday morning.
