Comment:

 I think the log list can appear at all times.  This has a number of
 possible benefits:

  - It makes the area of the waveform smaller, which might speed up refresh
 rate
  - It makes it clear that logs can be created, and gives them "presence";
 without it, the live vs. log states are "invisible" which can be confusing
  - It will make collaboration more natural once it's added, as the list of
 logs won't only be your own.

 If we really want to support a fullscreen mode, I'd recommend embedding
 the fullscreen button within the graph view itself, much like record does
