 Gah, writing the previous comment made me thing about something even worst
 about the public_rpms approach. As things stands now there is absolutely
 no warranty that even building in Koji will give me the right environment.
 If someone put a new version of one of my dependencies in public_rpms
 (without building it in Koji), I'll have no way to build my package in the
 right environment (short than installing rpmbuild and development stuff on
 a XO image).

 Also, I believe the olpc-2 branch that we forked is constantly getting F7
 updates, which again makes Koji/XO environment differ. (This is unlikely
 to cause problems because I guess we don't have ABI incompatibilities in
 the F7 updates, but it's just another risk factor).
