 Getting pygst to work around suspend/resume problems provides some more
 insight into the problems.  When I try to restart a pipeline in my
 activity, I am told that xvimagesink is not available.

 I am not sure how to force xv to make itself available again.  I tried
 moving xv windows around (see test one above); no luck.  I tried opening
 new gstreamer pipelines; no luck.

 JG, ideas?  Also, I would tend to agree this is a trial-1 high priority.

 Jordan, can you think of ways to reproduce this in c (xvtest?) or in some
 way which narrows the problem space for xv?
