Comment:

 Yeah, I had discussed it on irc with Benjamin but we forgot to update the
 ticket. I think the patch is not what we want here. For GtkButton putting
 them inside a gtk.HButtonBox will allow us to set a minimum height.

 For menus I asked Benjamin to open a bug in gtk upstream, because I think
 it's really a gtk problem.  Inconsistent height of menu items is clearly a
 visual issue.
