 After several low-battery induced shutdowns, I find today's Journal
 entries have vanished.  Only yesterday's entries are shown.  But the files
 themselves seem to still be present in the datastore directory.  At least
 the raw Write, Ogg, and jpeg files definitely are.

 The Journal settings are Anything/Anytime.  The condition remains
 unchanged after a reboot.
