 jg: no, the latest upstream camera bits are not in 616.

 corbet: I tried ov7670 and cafe_ccic from 2.6.23 (clean pull of linus'
 tree) compiled against the kernel in 616 on a B3 machine.  It still
 exhibits the banding issues that Erik is seeing in his builds, and Erik
 doesn't think there is any difference.

 Perhaps the 4-second blocking in the hardware init masked auto-adjust time
 in the sensor, and now that we aren't blocking any more we're seeing the
 ramp-up time?
