Comment:

 So it looks like run-parts ignores anything with a ".sh" at the end (or
 probably .*). Specifically:

 If the --lsbsysinit option is not given then the names must consist
 entirely of upper and lower case letters, digits, underscores, and
 hyphens.

 (this option is not given as part of the default cron install)

 Renamed scripts. Also probably a bad idea to run arbitrary user-owned
 files in the /home tree as root, so moved the scripts over to /etc and
 made symlinks from /home/olpc-code/scripts.
