 616 q2c28 B4.
 Inserted USB stick with all of the many gcompris .xo files.  Started one
 from Journal (I don't know which one; Perhaps one of the write_... ones).

 Its wedge showed up, with the gcompris universal airplane icon.  Nothing
 further happened.  ps|grep activity  doesn't show it.

 Clicking on the wedge doesn't select it.  Hovering over the wedge yields
 "Starting...", but no Resume or Stop.

 There doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the wedge, short of
 restarting sugar.

 Starting another activity, Calculate, sent the machine into a "can't be
 swapping but it sure looks like it" state, with intermittantly frozen
 cursor and failure to refresh screen (tooltip footprints).
