 I can't resolve ticket 1193 until the kernel stops using EC indexed I/O.
 The only place I know of it being used is in olpc.c : olpc_power_off()

 I have given Andres a patch to eliminate that indexed I/O in favor of a
 better procedure involving the CPU power management registers.
