Comment:

 I started to annotate #1063, but concluded it's not really equivalent, and
 so reopen this ticket.

 Over the weekend a bunch of photos were again "lost", apparently because
 the cursor drifted off the shutter button.

 I have had a B4 for a couple of weeks.  The flakeyness of the current
 interface for triggering photo and video capture was one of the first bugs
 I noticed.  And it remains perhaps the single most annoying.  I and others
 have repeatedly "lost" content.  I regularly see others wrestling with it.
 And apologize that we haven't yet done an easy fix for an obvious problem.

 At least in demos, Record is one of the two most popular Activities.  A
 little usability improvement would go a long way.  And I call this more
 than a "little" one.

 The current code is even testing for the gamekeys, and printing "gamekey
 X" on stdout!  This might be the proverbial one-line fix.  Please let's do
 it.  I'd be happy to provide a patch.
