 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Manufacturing_Data has been updated with a
 design for a new "KA" manufacturing data tag that is the basis for solving
 this problem.

 I have implemented OFW support for this new tag and a program to generate
 the tag value from the Wiki page that describes a keyboard.  It remains to
 deploy that scheme, requiring a firmware release and coordination with
 Quanta to get the new tag in the mfg data.
