 Build joyride 8 shows the "activate on demand" sugar frame.  But the frame
 only shows up if the mouse is exactly in one of the 4 corners of the
 screen.  This makes showing the frame unnecessarily awkward: we should
 show the frame whenever the mouse goes anywhere in the *edge* of the
 display.  For example, I should be able to mouse straight down to make the
 activities toolbar pop up.

 Also: can't we relocate the battery and mesh icons inset from the edge
 enough that they don't disappear when the frame pops up?
