 marcopg,

 I took another look at the log, and now it seems even more mysterious.  My
 program is simply running in a loop that takes 5 seconds to run.  From the
 timestamps, that means that it ran over 100 times before giving the first
 pango error, and over 100 more times before giving the second error.  I
 don't see anything in my code that should cause these errors.  Also, I
 have never noticed either of them before.  I probably never would have
 noticed, but the second set of errors appears to have killed the program,
 according to the timestamps.

 I assigned to sugar only because it appeared the error was coming from the
 glib mainloop, and I don't know what caused it.
