 Benjamin, why you think this belongs to sugar?

 Looks to be some problem when displaying text. As your activity uses pango
 directly, I would check at which exact point the warnings appear and what
 could be causing that.

 Also, I cannot see in the logs any assertion failure caused by reference
 counting.
