Priority: high | Milestone: Never Assigned
Component: hardware | Version: BTest-2 Hardware

The problem occured with XO B2-7 when using the power button to shut down
the system. The XO was updated with the latest firmware Q2C28 and build
 613. Trying to start the B2-7 will cause a temporairly surge of power that
will drastically reduce the lifetime of battery when unplugged. That will
be a serious critical issue with can cause a short circuit and burn the
laptop as a result. I am not sure if the problem applied from B3, B4 and
C hardware because I don't have them to verify the issue.

The current workaround is to do a clean shutdown from Sugar interface or
if you already hard shut down the XO, remove the battery for 10 seconds.
