 This is about the capacitative sensor in the center.

 Inside the marked area, there are dead margins as follows:

 0.20" on left

 0.35" on right

 0.15" at top

 0.25" at bottom

 You can measure by wiggling a small finger parallel to the edge while
 slowly moving the finger in from the edge.

 (no wonder the center area felt smaller than it looked -- it is)

 I did these measurements on B4 hardware. B2 hardware is about the same I
 think, but I haven't measured it.
