Comment:

 Similar experience with my own kids - even with clean hands (and they
 don't really have to work hard). They try five times in a row because
 every time they lift the finger and place it again, the pointer jumps.

 This does not seem to becaused by actual pressure events because then the
 pointer would jump to the upper third of the screen. But since tablet mode
 is useless currently anyway, disabling the pressure events might help a
 bit. What's the best way to try that?
