Comment:

I have an icon for this which I'll attach, but I'm not sure where it
belongs in the interface. I'd rather not leave a hole in the toolbar for
this icon to appear in on various occasions. Actually, it seems like the
most intuitive place for it is adjacent to the URL, since the URL is the
identity of the site which is certified and secure. Perhaps we can embed
it within the entry. I'd prefer not to do so on the right, because we
intend to modify entries to have accept/cancel buttons on the right. The
left is currently available, but that's also the location that the favicon
 usually appears.

We can't really overwrite the favicon with the lock icon when the page is
secure, because a page could impersonate a secure one by assigning it a
lock ''as'' its favicon. We could place the lock there in addition to the
favicon, but we don't have support for embedding multiple icons at
present. (Of course, for that same reason we can't have accept/cancel
 buttons yet).

Ben, could you give some input on the potential for packing more icons in
the entries, both left and right, and how hard it would be to pack these
 dynamically for secure sites?
