 I spoke too soon.  It does connect, but it never stops flashing the 'mesh
 1' circle, and eventually it stops routing packets to the AP.  This sounds
 like a different bug, as this is roughly the same behavior as I saw before
 I installed the new RPM -- it keeps cycling through 1, 6, and 11,
 disconnecting from the AP each time.
