 Experimentation and close reading reveal that this bug is only half-way
 resolved.

 The important part - downloading the correct URL from the update server --
 is fixed.

 Unfortunately, because of an implementation mistake that I made, the
 manifest for the desired update will be downloaded in full instead of
 being downloaded by incrementally updating the previous version's
 manifest.

 As the the impact of the mistake is solely on efficiency, (and currently
 only costs of 5MB of bandwith), this probably shouldn't be a Trial-3
 blocker. We'll discuss this tomorrow at the security meeting.
