I just got today what I tried a lot yesterday. A blinking led crash with
20p42. So, this is to add that frames are still forwarded but in a very
low rate (less than 1 per minute, sometimes 5 minutes)

So the answer to the question of whether the fw still forwards frame is
yes, but it's having a hard time to do it.
