Comment:

 jg: Stream tubes are supposed to be supported in Ship.2, right? Currently
 only Read uses them.

 Basically our options are:
 a) don't support stream tubes in Ship.2
 b) Ship nss-mdns in images
 c) try to hack a quick and dirty workaround to resolve this issue.
