 I'm not sure which build this first appeared: I noticed in the first of
 the update.1 builds, and on the latest joyride (355). There is no star
 badge on the last connected AP icon, which makes it seems as if it was an
 open AP on the neighborhood view.

 And Everyone (incuding Walter) liked the channel number icons on the Mesh
 channel icons as well!
