 Yes, I moved the XKB settings to /etc/sysconfig/keyboard. The .i18n file
 only contains the language settings.

 People have been asking me on devel@ for a way to customize the keyboard
 (see the "Keyboard switching" thread).  The topic is likely to come back
 over and over until we provide some interface for customizing the keyboard
 and some safety net to restore it to defaults.
