 Done (not yet in a build)

 useradd called by pilgrim creates /home/olpc as 700, though.
 It seems to be an overcautious default in fedora's shadow-utils fedora
 package.

 The UMASK value in /etc/login.defs should be changed from 077 to 022.
 This UMASK is *not* used for anything else: the user umask is set by the
 profile scripts independetly.

 My suggested fix is hacking the UMASK value in /etc/login.defs from within
 pilgrim.  Branching the shadow-utils package just for this tiny change
 seems overkill.
