 mako, IIRC the packages containing these fonts in the current build are
 fonts-arabic and fonts-thai-ttf. You can look at the font metadata using
 ftinfo -n (from fttools). Alternatively, fontforge's GUI can expose this
 metadata.

 There are plans for fontconfig to expose the licensing metadata in its
 cache as well, but we're not there yet.

 As you'd expect I recommend asking upstream to relicense to a font-
 specific licence like OFL designed to fix such problems over negociating
 to get the "font exception" added as there as still unresolved problems
 with this experimental approach.

 Freedom defined *and* implemented for fonts on OLPC is what we need.
