 This sounds like a duplicate of #4479.

 Bernie,
   Do you say it is fixed because that version of olpc-utils doesn't
 suspend/resume or it doesn't power cycle the DCON ?   Either of these just
 mask the #4479 problem.

 The solution is that the kernel must be patched to fix the problem!
