Comment:

 I fixed this already some time ago, but then people complained saying that
 they liked the autorespawn thing and were using it all the time when
 testing Sugar...

 So I had to restore the original behavior.

 The real solution seems to be implementing #4561, thus closing this bug as
 a dupe.
