 Although I originally wrote Connect 4 as a means to test the initial tubes
 code, much of the work that's gone into it since has been with the intent
 of making it a playable game. If it were merely a demo, we wouldn't have
 added stuff like game end detection.

 I think it would take only a modest amount of work to make it a polished
 game. Given its small size, it might make an appropriate project for a
 beginning OLPC contributor.
