 failure does not happen with xvtest when xvtest is not scaled, which
 implies that scaling is causing pain.  I took register dumps from before
 and after suspend, and there are some differences, but none interesting to
 this problem.  A more interesting test is comparing the register set after
 the mouse move that recovers the video - the registers are identical,
 indicating that our problem is probably having to do with the order in
 which we restore registers.
