Attached patch to do so.
In full-screen Terminal, this would break vi. Terminal needs to use shift-
Esc, following the usual convention. (shift gets the copy/paste keys, and
it gets the mouse for the rare times where a terminal app takes that over,
etc.)
Of course, picking some other key would be fine. The magnifier key and the
double-window key might be reasonable choices. The view-changing keys
(mesh, friends, donut, app) could do the job, even the one which refers to
the current view.
