 Build: This is the 289 Kernel branch of cscott's

 After doing a copy-nand of the new image (holding square while booting),
 the laptop freezes during Activation. You get to the screen where it asks
 for the name of the Laptop, and X doesn't recognize the keyboard or
 touchpad. That is, you can't move the mouse or type anything in the name
 window. This is most likely a problem between the newer kernel and the
 older version of X. I say this because you are able to switch to the
 terminal, log in, etc. This is a blocker, since this inhibits the kernel
 branch from being a release candidate.

 cscott said that bernie is the one to look at this, so I'm assigning it to
 him.
