 Ok, so this bug is definitely a Gabble crash.

 Can you reliably reproduce this crash?
 Could you provide a backtrace? When gabble is running, open a console (or
 hit CTRL+ALT+F1 and log as root), "gdb -p <gabble-pid>" and then
 "continue".
