 I'm hoping that this bug is a simple fix, because it's a pretty big
 roadblock for people testing in emulation.  Sure, a knowledgeable user can
 work around this problem, but I'm trying to get newbies involved, and the
 harder it is to get functional resolution, the higher that bar is.
