 alternative/sanitized name for the Hacker's Conference; Chaminade is the
 name of the conference venue ]

 dunno if this is relevant, but -- while the THINK ssid was close to
 useless
 (random disconnections within 30 seconds in the rare event that you could
 get a connection at all), the Chaminade wifi worked flawlessly for me,
 once
 I paid the $10 tythe.  I needed a good connection to do my OpenSim demo.
