 You need to create files like this under the $SUGAR_ACTIVITY_ROOT/instance
 dir. In python, this is spelled

 {{{
 os.path.join(os.environ['SUGAR_ACTIVITY_ROOT'], 'instance')
 }}}

 Does this make sense? Does it solve your problem?
