 I can't comment on using key vs using object_path, I assume collabora
 agree this is the right way to do it.

 Patch looks good to me, I wonder if we should add a get_object_path()
 method to BuddyModel to make it easier to access it.

 I suggest punting this one to Update.2 because it's quite invasive and the
 feature doesn't seem like a critical one.
