Comment:

 I've implemented an asynchronous snap function.  Would like to refactor
 the whole module to allow e.g. for setting the image formats and sizes
 (e.g. to jpeg and scaling down for video-chat-during-games operation).
 That's out-of-scope for this ticket, though.

 Hopefully the async version will no longer leave the camera open after
 processing (it sets the stream to NULL state explicitly).
