 Er, I meant Update.1.

 The problem happens when we have multiple addresses for the Jabber server
 and connecting to the first one fails. This commonly happens when name
 resolution yields an IPv6 address and an IPv4 address, but connecting to
 the IPv6 address fails for some reason.
