Comment:

 I don't think we are playing the sound (it's not installed anymore) but it
 looks like we are still loading playbin. And maybe that's messing with
 sound device. I can write a no risk patch to turn this off if wanted.

 Pippy was playing fine for me when I tested but being a race...
