 Go to terminal 1. After a few seconds, the screen will go blank. This is
 due to some suspend/resume/power-saving code that was added. If you're in
 the home view when this occurs, taking some action will bring the
 brightness back. However, when one is in the terminal view, typing does
 not bring the brightness back up.

 A fix would probably just require the suspend/resume code to look for
 action in the terminal.
