 I use the Canvas object from abiword to show texts (lesson plans and such)
 on slider-puzzle, jigsaw-puzzle and mamamedia-teacher-center.

 Right now if I open a file on a Canvas that already had one, the second
 file is opened as a new internal window on the Canvas, MDI style, which
 feels wrong.

 Either there should be a close() method or load_file() should dump any
 previous data loaded on the document, I believe.
