Comment:

 I don't know how the discussion progressed on this. If we go with eben/sj
 plan about activities installation I don't really see any problem in
 keeping the separated activities. With few icons on the frame it will also
 be much quicker to open these. Better alt+tab support will help with the
 case when you need to quickly switch between the log viewer and the
 activity you are debugging.  Improving the "window" management is a
 problem that needs to be solved also for the kids user experience, there
 is nothing developer specific in it. I regret to have introduced the
 developer console in the first place, if I went with activities from the
 beginning by now these problems would be solved :/

 Anyway if it's decided to go back to the developer console approach please
 make it a separate module, that alone will solve the maintenance problems
 we had in the past.
