 Heh....

 If we do suspend on idle (no-user-input), (which we can), we can certainly
 do update the screen on non-idle (user input).

 This isn't rocket science.

 For now, please set a simple timer for, say, 5 minutes as a for temporary
 patch (if we fix it Update.1 at all), and we can revisit in the future.
