 For trial3 and update1, we are storing in every journal entry about a
 shared activity the id, the nick and the colors of every buddy that
 participated.

 The id is currently calculated as follows:

 sha1(buddy.props.key).hexdigest()

 If after u1 we change to another format, we may loose the ability to use
 that information for filtering journal entries by buddy. Also, we wouldn't
 be able to show updated nick and colors when the buddies changed those.

 Perhaps we could do something about it now?
