Comment:

 A further patch is needed; the one I used before only partially addresses
 this problem, and causes #4692 (which I've closed as a duplicate of this
 bug). I'll attach it. It can also be pulled from branch "4692" in
 git+ssh://dev.laptop.org/git/users/smcv/presence-service.git.
