Comment:

 With the patch for #4402, it should take 22 minutes for loss to be
 detected (2 minutes for the mDNS time-to-live to expire, plus 20 minutes'
 grace period to reduce spurious disappearances if mDNS packets don't
 arrive - mDNS optimizes for low bandwidth use over high reliability, and
 assumes a relatively reliable network).

 Anyway, #4402 has much more commentary and discussion than this bug, so
 closing as a duplicate.
