#4732: The touchpad events that wake us up are not seen by X.

Reporter: cjb | Owner: dilinger
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: blocker | Milestone: Never Assigned
Component: kernel | Version:
Keywords: | Verified: 0
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
Steps to reproduce:
1. suspend under X
2. slide a finger across the touchpad
3. we wake up a second later, but the mouse pointer hasn't moved
Jordan suggests that the kernel is absorbing the events instead of giving
them to X. Richard says he has previously verified (with the scope) that
the touchpad data is sent up by the EC on the LPC bus.
#1687 is relevant.
